Overview

Government Executive first hosted their Government Hall of Fame event in 2019 to celebrate and honor government workers/allies who have achieved greatness for America.
Due to the circumstances of Covid-19, for 2020 they sought to virtually host their event online as the Government Hall of Fame Virtual Event.

Fun Fact: The website, including the pages I worked on, were recognized by The Webby‘s as an Honoree, under the categories:
2021, virtual remote, general virtual remote, & public service activism

Role(s)

Web Developer, specializing in WordPress, 3D effects, and animations.

I was put in charge of developing the Teddies Wall of Winners and the History Walk virtual page experiences. Based off of the design mocks and discussions with the head designer, I implemented these custom WordPress pages with 3D effects integration to achieve animations triggered by scrolling.
